December is my birth month. This year, 2018, marks the 44th year of my existence on this planet.

To commemorate this milestone, I will share 44 things about 30 subjects that have helped me in my life’s journey to this point. So, for the rest of the year, I will share on one subject each day.

On to today’s post: 44 quotes from the most important book, the Bible, that has helped to shape my life philosophy. Some of these verses I picked up as a child from my parents and grandparents, some from my Bible school days and some from messages I have listened to.

Faith — the foundation of my belief system

1) “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matt 6:33

2) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

3) “Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ­John 3:3

4) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”- Rom 8:28

Parents — taking care of my parents is my highest honour

Humility and manner of speech

Attitude of gratitude
